It was great to see you all tonight! I do apologize for having so many side conversations and off-topic discussions. I don't get out of the house without a kid very often! Please let me return to book club again in spite of my annoying habits!

Our current book is The Piano Teacher by Janice Lee. Book Club will be held on January 7, 2010 at Lara's house. Directions to come closer to the date.

The Lovely Bones: October 1st

The book of the month is The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. I have heard from many that this book is really, really good. Plus, it is being made into a movie--and book club movie nights are oh so fun!!

Bookclub is at my house in October. We will take this meeting to plan our 2010 calendar and anything else that is on your mind! Oh yeah...and we'll discuss the book and drink a little vino!

The Time Traveler's Wife: August 6th

Our next book is The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. We will meet at Valerie's house on August 6, 2009....directions will be emailed to you the week of the meeting!

Look forward to another book club movie night! This one gets released on August 14th...so, we'll pick a date to head to the movies when we are at Val's!

The Help: July 9th

Thought I better update the blog in case I go into labor tonight! Just kidding ;-) I looked up Braxton Hicks on-line, and am pretty darn sure that's still what it is....I just need to keep drinking water. For the record, Daddy Q isn't worried--I walked in and said "I've been having contractions all night." And he said, "ok." Hmmmm...at least he won't be surprised if I wake him up in a few hours.
