Our next book is The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. We will meet at Valerie's house on August 6, 2009....directions will be emailed to you the week of the meeting!

Look forward to another book club movie night! This one gets released on August 14th...so, we'll pick a date to head to the movies when we are at Val's!

The Help: July 9th

Thought I better update the blog in case I go into labor tonight! Just kidding ;-) I looked up Braxton Hicks on-line, and am pretty darn sure that's still what it is....I just need to keep drinking water. For the record, Daddy Q isn't worried--I walked in and said "I've been having contractions all night." And he said, "ok." Hmmmm...at least he won't be surprised if I wake him up in a few hours.

Next book is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. It is just out--so, hardcover only. Shanon says its 30% off at Target right now. Also, Borders just sent out 25% off coupons...if you are a member there, check your email.

Between Sundays: June 4th

The Glass Castle sure made for some interesting discussion! Thank you, Lori, for hosting May book club! I hear that it was a late night--sorry I had to leave "early"!

Our next meeting will be hosted by Erin. We will meet at Grimaldi's in Waters Creek Shopping Center at Bethany and I-75. Erin has confirmed a spot on the porch for us for 7PM on Thursday, June 4th. Similar to when we meet in someones home, Erin will provide the food (salad and pizza); we will each purchase our own drinks.

The Glass Castle: May 7th

Lori is hosting the next book club on May 7, 2009. And the book... The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls.

As a side note, I think that we are going to road trip to The Canton Trade Days for the May Market. It is April 30 - May 3rd. We will tentatively plan on a May 1st outing. Leave a comment or send me (Sarah Q.) an email if you want to join us!!
