The Next Thing on My List: December 9th
What a great time we had at book club this week!! Thank you, Erin, for stepping in as hostess at the last minute!! Since we are having our holiday party in December, and don't have just one hostess, we thought it would be fun to vote on a book. Hmmm...turned out to be quite a pain for this group ;-) But, after lots of deliberation, the book chosen for next month's reading pleasure is The Next Thing on My List by Jill Smolinski. The holiday party is set for Thursday, December 9th at 7:00 PM. We will meet at Gather in Downtown McKinney. The cost per person will be $30-$35....it is BYOB.

The Art of Racing in the Rain: September 2nd

Next book....The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. Bookclub will be hosted by Shanon...look for an email from her in the coming month for RSVP and directions!
Also, those of us in attendance at Elizabeth's house decided that it would be great fun to have a Christmas party, in lieu of a traditional book club meeting, in December. So, we'll decide on a holidayish book to read and then meet at a restaurant and do either an ornament or book exchange. Sound fun? I think so ;-)
